Gta 4 Black Screen
I'm seeing a lot of people with this problem, it has even happened to me. Don't worry it's very easy to fix.It appears Rockstar is tampering with something ( my guess is they are trying to fix the online servers ) and while doing so created another problem that is affecting a large majority of players. (And yes this issue is effecting people who only want to get on to play single player)The solution to this problem is rather simple DO NOT DELETE YOUR GAME SAVE FILES/DATA UTILITY FOLDER.
Does any one fix for GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City infinite loading screen, i get the this infinite loading screen the Mission Momma's boy and High Dive, when i lowered the graphics it worked for Momma's boy mission It worked, but it is not working for the mission High dive. Ok I recently re-installed GTA EFLC (STEAM VERSION). The problem is when I launch the game I get a black screen but I can still hear the in-game sound. I can run GTA IV with no problem its just GTA EFLC I get this problem. My computer specs are: AMD BULLDOZER SIX CORE FX-6200 (3.80GHz/6MB CACHE/A.
The last thing you want to happen is lose your 20+ hour game play data due to this issue.Now all you gotta do to get the game to load up properly again is just SIGN OUT of the PSN and restart the game WHILE DISCONNECTED from the PSN and it will load up fine. It's as simple as that. If you still can't load up and it just stays at the loading screen forever try turning off the Information Board on your PS3 and starting the game while disconnected from the PSN.And no i'm not talking about the freezing issue while in game your screen freezes and completely stops. I'm talking about this very recent issue that just started happening where the game wont start for many people and just sits at the loading screen forever trying to start from where you last left off.Sorry if there is allready another topic covering this issue but it is very recent and ive allready read about people deleting their files and i feel bad for them =/.
Firstly, DON'T PANIC - this happens to everyone! Its a consequence of a recent fix to the game that somehow nobody at STEAM bothered to tell anyone about. You think I'm kidding? Check the forums. Anyway, you won't need to do step (1) in the list I'm providing, but you will definitely need to do step (2) onwards.
Your problems are a direct consequence of using gfwlivesetup.exe(1) Do a fresh install of GTA-IV or ELFC (or both) unless you already have a fresh installation. This really only applies if the existing installation has become corrupted, been modified or seemingly won't work.(2) Install - this patches the games so that the old Games For Windows Live (GFWL) login is upgraded so it now connects to the XBOX server which replaced it.(3) When prompted for a login, you can choose to ignore or to create a new XBOX account. For example, I have a decade-old GFWL account and the server allowed me to login without any issues, but a lot of people have found that their GFWL login no longer works, so make a new XBOX one. Once you have patched GTA-IV, if you also have EFLC, it will automatically patch that too.(4) Run the game you wish to play.
Please be advised that after patching with the application I mentioned here the loading screens will be displayed, you will hear the GTA-IV theme tune wherein the screen will then go black for about one minute and then the Rockstar Games Social Club loading screen will appear.(5) Set the options for the game, video, screen resolution, controls (if necessary) and then play. Just black screen.What can i do?I got Windows 10, and i have downloaded gfwlivesetup.exe (this was mentioned in other topic).Is this a joke? I spend my money on crap, which is not working.
