Starting with Flash Player 11.7, most runtime installations come with the DRM module already included with the Flash Player installer. In this situations, the SystemUpdater API should still be called by your Actionscript video player application to ensure backwards compatability with Flash Player runtimes which don't have the DRM module pre-linked. Updated:First and foremost, please let me know if creating a new question would be 'better' than updating this question. Anyway.I am currently running Antergos and I am experiencing the same problems. Hal doesn't seem to work and o tried installing an older version to no avail. I am interested in trying to get my 'hands' on a ChromeOS recovery so I can extract its flash player. To find out if you can play DRM content (from Adobe's help page):Go to the url in (1) and paste the url in (2) into the 'Input the Video URL' bar.Old:I upgraded to Linux Mint 17 a couple weeks ago.

Prior to that, I was running on LM 16 and had an issue playing protected content on Google Chrome. I fixed that issue after installing hal and disabling Chrome's flash player in favour of Adobe's. But since I'm on LM 17, that problem reared its ugly head again. I recently installed hal and since Chrome no longer gave me the option to disable/enable specific flash plug-ins, I renamed Adobe's to libpepflashplayer and moved it to opt/google/chrome/PepperFlash.

Unfortunately, the problem still persists and it's worse now since I know get the notice 'Could not load Shockwave Flash.' In addition to the answers Karol S gave, note that the PPAPI flash found on ChromeBooks has DRM enabled. You can extract the libpepflashplayer.so. files from a recovery image and substitute them for your existing ones. Why Google does this, I don't know. My personal solution is Karol S's third option (Pipelight in a NPAPI browser, specifically Seamonkey in my case). But this is an option, too.'

Fresh player' (an alternative to pipelight that doesn't work quite as well in my experience but is farless complex to install), this is how you get the plugin library:You download from. Thisscript has a link to recovery.conf inside, which in turn have links toparticular images. Last one I downloaded, waschromeos5978.98.1zakorecoverystable-channelmp-v2.bin.

Hello all,Recently I purchased an HDHomerun Prime from Silicon Dust however, i have not been able to view my live tv content through my plex app on various devices (PS4 app, IOS App, Windows app). I have tried several plugins (HD Grand Slam, HDHR View, HDHR View 2). My HDHomerun Prime device is able to see all of my channels though the website and i am able to see my channels within the plex app. When I select the channel I wish to watch I either get a buffer (Chrome Web Browser) or the channel takes too long to load and I am unable to view it. My cable provider is Spectrum (used to be TWC) I am on their 60 MB/s internet and all of my devices are connected via Ethernet.

I am assuming it is the plugin that i have DL and am trying to use. Another problem i am having is being able to DVR channels that are designated as DRM. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Let me know if I need to supply with any additional information. I can confirm the grand slam and hd viewer 2 work without issue via Plex web, open pht and iOS. In fact, my little brother watches my cable remotely by accessing the plugins on his roku.I assume you can use the native hdhomerun app without any problems? If so, that would be odd. You entered the correct ip on the plugins? What are you running PMS on? You might want to attempt to use one of the plugins, then when it fails, grab the server and plugin logs and post them. Also at the beginning of this section is documentation of steps to check when a plugin fails.

The disconnect is on your end (not being critical, happens to all of us). It shouldn’t be difficult to resolve.

Questions about the use of DVR in Plex should be directed to the.If you are instead referring to a Plex channel plugin that you have installed on your Plex Media Server, the channel you mention is not listed in the, therefore it would be considered, which are also known as unsupported channels.Unsupported channels are often less stable, require special instructions and may even no longer be maintained or supported by its developer. Since these channels stability, support, and specifications vary so much, as the name implies, unsupported channels do not and cannot be supported by the larger volunteer channel community. Therefore, you must treat any issues with any unsupported channels individually and use the support options offered by each unsupported channel’s developer to resolve any issues with each channel.See and the pinned topic for a list of known support topics for unsupported channels.

If the unsupported channel plugin is not listed in that pinned topic list, you would need to refer to the source where you found it (like a website or Github repository) to find any support options offered by its developer. Said:My PMS is running on windows 10 64 but.

The hdhomerun app I assume you are talking about is the one used to setup a cable card. Yes that runs without a hitch. I have entered the correct up address of my device into the plugin copied straight from the device. The only thing I am unsure of is how to get the logs you are talking about.I’m referring to HDhomerun native app that you use to watch your cable on.Sorry I meant what hardware are you running plex media server on?I think I missed this before- you can see your channels via the hdhomerun plugins for plex but you’re getting buffering, or it stalls out, correct?server logs will probably give some insight. You can download them via plex web. Go to settings-server-help and you’ll see the option to ‘download logs’. Try to play one of the plugins and when it fails, download the logs and post just the ‘plex media server.logs’ (just the one without a number following).
