Ok here is what you have to do. A few months ago the Nexus Mod Manager serve was down so I had to install all my mods manually. To do this first download the mod manually from the Nexus. Then open the NMM and click on the Mods tab.

On there the first icon to the left is a puzzle piece with a green plus sign on it. Click on that, it is the Add Mod from file button. Then pick the.rar file of the mod you want to install.

Now I have a lot of mods and including HD graphics, Skyblivion, Skywind, SKSE, and I reached the max plugins though I keep it at 254 instead of 255 just so Nexus mod manager doesn't glitch up (which it does at 255). Best Answer: No. When you upload your mods and install them from the Nexus Mod Manager, they are placed in your Game Files. So when it is reinstalled it will automatically detect your mods. Hope i helped. When upgrading to version 0.50.0 NMM needs to convert all your currently installed files to the new method. The conversion process uninstalls all your currently installed mods and then attempts to reinstall your mods one at a time. Script installers will have to be run again and you will be prompted for each script in turn.

The NMM will add the file into the Mods tab under the Unassigned category(depends on if you use the default categories from the NMM or made your own.). Then click on the newly added mod and install. Works like a charm.I don't know what you meant by Frostfall and OBIS not being able to add from file since I literally just tested adding them from file by using the method above. You must have been doing it wrong.

Yeah, the uninstall process shouldn't uninstall any of your mods. However, when you first start up NMM after reinstalling, it might go through some funky process of reinstalling all of your mods again. I'm not sure why it happens but that's something that I thought should be noted as well.I know right, i mean I gave the program where the mods are installed, and somehow wants to reinstall again.its eating up memoryEDIT: Great.now it wont open my saveEdited by bastiisalive, 02 May 2019 - 04:10 AM.
