I always figured I could modify an M2 to shoot 20 gauge using the links that come with the regular 50 cal ammo – might have to modify the stops on the belt tray, and the claw that grabs the cartridge – probably not, but would be fun project on a roached ANM3 barrel. The only problem would be the change in dynamics – might have to build an all aluminum barrel carrier group to encourage a full cycle. I’d probably just put a modified ordinary shotgun action inside the barrel carrier.
