White Screen Windows 10
Hello I am running Windows 10. I left my PC for 10 min, and it went to sleep, when I woke it up, the screen was almost entirely white, with some pixels and the cursor left out, so I could navigate it to shut down. The issue, didn't stop though and the screens turns almost completely white now, after the boot screen is finished.

I'm using Windows 7. Already chatted with one of the Tech guys about this. Spent over an hour with them. I couldn't install the newest version, but, Origin 9 is still able to be installed. Unfortunately, it updates itself and won't let you do anything unless you let it and then you get the white screen. I can't even log in for the first time. Not to mention play the brand new game I just bought 7 hours ago when I started trying to get this stuff to work.
The sheer amount of hoops to get Amazon to tell you what you need to get their downloadable games is astounding. Got their program. Then it told me to get Origin. This is why I don't normally use Amazon and get my stuff directly from the developers if I can.In summary. I got the thing downloaded but still get the white screen. If you can't even download the program, check this link out.Sorry about the ranting. Origin 10 is the required version unless you have Windows XP or Vista, then you need the Legacy version which does not support many of the features of Origin.If you are getting the white screen issue, there are a few things you can try.Make sure your operating system is fully updated.

I just got a game for Christmas that requires Origin, so I am entering this mess for the first time.

I had the same problem where I had to be online which would cause origin to update and then I would forever after have a white screen no matter whether firewall or antivirus software was turned off.After installing and reinstalling for a couple of days, I finally got it to work by installing the legacy version, turning off automatic updates during installation and then running the program in compatability mode for windows vista. This last part is key because it stops it from wanting to upgrade to Origin 10.
