I have contacted Ken the owner of Dun Rite pool on several occasions via email and phone in regards to multiple documented events of poor workmanship and damage created by his workers during the installation of my pool and delays. I was assured by their sales rep and installation manager that they would all measures would be put into place to protect my brand new side walk. To my dismay, four of the concrete slabs that they repeatedly went over with their heavy equipment are badly cracked beyond repair. I witnessed no protection whats so ever was applied to the concrete to protect it as promised during the home visit and contract signing.The workers started to fill the pool with water and failed to back-fill the pools sides causing the several supports to be crushed after the pool was completely full. I was then told by Ken the water level needs to be 'dropped by three feet in order for them to repair the three or four crushed supports', I did so.

As we have found from experience, protecting the sidewalk does not stop the weight of the equipment on the side walk and it will crack. Furthermore, unless sprinkles lines are marked for us, we cannot tell where they are underground and is impossible to avoid hitting them. That being said, there will be no reimbursement for sidewalk or sprinkler lines. had overfilled the pool which had caused too much pressure on the brace which caused it to buckle.

I am an 11 year customer that Dunrite just lost.When Dunrite closed our pool in September 2016 we were told that we needed a new cell. We bought a new cell on the internet. Same exact part that is needed.

When Dunrite called me on Saturday, 6/./17 to confirm the pool opening for June., I told the woman (I forget her name) that we purchased the new cell. She said that Dunrite would not guarantee the part because it was not purchased through Dunrite. I have a 1 year warranty with Jandy so I didn't see anything wrong with that. Today, 6/./2017 when the pool was opened, the new cell was used with the OLD DC Cord plug that is connected to Terminal studs, along with other old pieces. WHY would they mix an old DC Plug with the new cell??? Why wouldn't the new parts be installed? Dunrite told me in September that it was broken- the cell and the plug, so why use the old broken piece?

I didn't realize that I should have thrown out the old cord. We thought it was easier to leave everything in the box never thinking that the new O-Ring Seal, the new universal unions and nuts, the new sensor port plug and nut and the new DC plug would NOT be used along with the new cell. That does not make any sense at all.The salt system is telling me to call for service. It was opened for 2 hours and I have to call for service?

The dispatch ticket stated that 'everything is running good.' How can that be if I have to call for service? Another thing is that the jet in the deep end by the steps is also not working. Everything is not 'running good', so why state that?I called this afternoon because after spending $.1.9. for a pool opening, I am unhappy with the service. I spoke with Tom, the manager, about my concerns and he immediately dismissed my concerns because the part was not purchased through Dunrite.

He informed me that the store policy is parts that are not purchased through Dunrite will not be installed and Dunrite is not responsible for it not working. I WAS NOT TOLD that by the person on Saturday. It also isn't stated on the contract that is attached that I signed and emailed on 6/./17.

So if the store policy is not on the contract and their employees do not know about this policy to inform the customers, how are we to know?Tom stated that the pool is green and it may not be flowing properly and that is why it states call for service. 11 years of opening up my pool and this is the first time the green water is affecting the flow? Could it not be working properly due to the old DC plug? I don't know because I am not the expert.

I felt Tom was not concerned about the situation and he dismissed me because the part was not purchased through Dunrite. He was not helpful at all. After telling him that he lost an 11 year customer, I hung up. By his tone and his comments I knew the situation would not be resolved.I have always told people how Dunrite is a great company and the customer service is amazing, always helpful. My brother used Dunrite due to my recommendation.
